Personality:
Well, aside from his average personality, one can assume that Kyousuke is just a normal student living his life in Mitagihara. A normal popular student that is, as his music playing skills tend to bring all the girls to the front yard. And just like any other popular students, Kyousuke can seem pretty aloof to any of his future friends, but don't worry, he's a pretty cool guy, really! Aside from all the self-esteem issues all you protag types have to fix, that is.

See, he thinks of himself as someone who's only popular for his music, and not as an individual of his own merit, without his music, all he has is... nothing. No one cared for him because of himself. No, they all cared for him due to his music. Before Sayaka's wish healed him of his own wounds, he broke down upon receiving one of the many CDs Sayaka tends to buy for him, all due to those reminding him that he can't play any music anymore. He truly believed that he is nothing more than a tool for his parents, a tool for prestige and fame, and that the injury will disable him for being just... that.

To... him, music is... everything and nothing at the same time. While he enjoys music for the sake of playing it, he's not really attached to the notion of playing it in front other people for fame. All he wanted is to play music, for his important people to listen to. This gets muddled up even further when he received his injury. Hearing all the music CDs Sayaka gave him reminded him of his own inability to play them, and while it was small, the feeling of anger at himself grew as time went on, finally causing him to snap that fateful day, causing him to injure himself at his lowest emotional point.

When he's not being depressed over everything, he's probably the type of person to just sit somewhere not really obvious, and do his own thing, unless approached by his friends to have a conversation. Of course, he tends to talk about performances and about his favorite composers and artists, but never about himself, actually, since he's not the boastful type at all. There might also be times where he put on a small show to his friends himself to help cheer them up when they're not in a great mood as well . He's also pretty much the competitive type when it comes to violin-playing, which could explain parts of his motivation to get his arm healed as soon as possible, due to the prospect of losing to his rivals.

He's also pretty dense as a person, as he's completely oblivious to any hints of a crush that Sayaka had for him, and in fact, it took what seems to be a blunt confession by Hitomi for him to reciprocate her feelings and probably realize that yes, Hitomi has a crush on him. This densenss is actually what caused him to unconsciously create a wall between himself and others, as his stubbornness combined with his own low-self esteem issues to form the wall that stood, barring others to convince him that he's his own person.

While it's known that Kyousuke's behavior in the series could be attributed to his attempts to cope with his injury, it can be said that he actually gets along pretty well with his friends, especially Sayaka, as they've been friends ever since their childhood (how they met was something he really didn't remember, but it probably involved a lot of blushing and awkward). He viewed Sayaka as a friend that's really positive and believe that everything'll be alright in the end, which helps him, really, despite his... breakdown during that time. He appreciated Sayaka's gesture all the same. The notion of magic and miracles seemed silly to him, but he thought that it's probably just her attempt at cheering him up at the time.

Though strangely, thanks to Sayaka's wish, he's slowly accepting that magic exists, since there was no way for his injuries to be healed apart from a miracle, and yet over night, those very injuries healed, leading him to believe that yes, miracles and magic do exist, to some extent. While the pressure of leading back into the normal life pushed both of them further away, and that Hitomi's confession pushed her even further away from him, to the point that her death made him realize that in part, he was just as responsible for Sayaka's own death.

Hitomi is... another piece to this puzzle. While it's not whether he's just as close with her as he does with Sayaka, that doesn't change the fact that he's dating her by the time of Sayaka's funeral, no thanks to Hitomi's confession right before she turned into a Witch. He cares for her, but again, the extent of which he cares for her is not shown during the show.

Abilities: None, he's just a normal human, really!
